Nicolas Cage may be making some bad movies to cover his financial losses, but he can breath easy knowing that his mint condition copy of Action Comics No. 1 has been found nearly 11 years after its mysterious theft. The coveted comic, featuring the debut of Superman, was found in a storage unit in San Fernando Valley, California. The collector who originally sold it to Cage authenticated it as the real deal, but because Cage accepted an insurance payout on the lost comic, it is unsure whether it will be returned. The comic sold originally for 10 cents and last year in March 2010 a copy sold for $1.5 million.
